Powerful Action Vs Pondering Action

Motivation
We all get caught in the trap of over analyzing which leads to inaction. We can also over extend ourselves, which leads to no action as we don't know where to start. So, how do we get out of these traps? First we need to recognize these traps and see when we're in them. Then we need to take a step back and understand the two types of action:
Powerful Action is the DOER. Don’t think about what needs to be done, just do it. Doing involves taking risks. It asks you to be brave and act. It requires focus, commitment and ultimately, progress.
Pondering Action is the THINKER. This often turns into over thinking, doing more research, researching the research and ultimately, inaction. This Pondering Action is more exhausting then Powerful Action.
As Dale Carnegie said, “Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy.”
What to do:
• Limit Plan time, add to take action time.
• Take some things off your to do list. Seeing too many things can get discouraging. You’re more likely to take action when you see progress.
• What is one thing you can do in the next 30 mins to take Powerful action. Don’t overthink this question.
